The IPMAT exam, or Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test, is a post-secondary examination. The IPMAT exam score serves as an entryway to a variety of prestigious IIMs and other top management institutes. This article will address the IPMAT eligibility requirements for IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Jammu, IIM Bodhgaya, and IIFT Kakinada.
In India, there are three IPMAT exams: IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, and JIPMAT.

Eligibility Criteria for IPM at IIM Indore

The Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Indore is open to candidates who meet the following IPMAT eligibility criteria.

AgeCandidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2005 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given, i.e. born on or after August 01, 2000).
Qualifying ExamCandidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinationin 2023, 2024, or appearing in 2025.
Minimum PercentageIPMAT Indore does not have minimum percentage criteria in Classes 10 and 12. Students having less than 60% can also apply.

Note 1: Candidates who have completed standard XII/HSC or an equivalent qualification by July 31, 2025, are eligible to apply provided that they satisfy the aforementioned eligibility requirements. Provisional admission to the program will be granted to such candidates if they are chosen.

Note 2: Candidates are responsible for determining the X and XII Standard percentages by utilizing the best five subjects on the mark sheet or the entire mark sheet, irrespective of the regulations of the Board.

IPMAT Eligibility Criteria for IIM Ranchi

The Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Ranchi is open to candidates who meet the following IPMAT eligibility criteria.

Minimum PercentageCandidates belonging to the General/OBC/EWS category should have a minimum of 60% in Class X and Class XII according to the IPMAT eligibility criteria.Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category should have a minimum of 55% in Class X and Class XII.

Note: Candidates are required to calculate the percentages of the 10th and 12th standard in accordance with the regulations of the Board. Include all subjects from the grade sheet in the percentage calculation if there is no specific regulation for aggregate marks.

Eligibility Criteria for IIM Rohtak IPM

The Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Rohtak is open to candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria for the IPMAT Rohtak exam.

AgeMaximum 20 years of age as of June 30, 2025, for all the students. No age relaxation for any category in IIM Rohtak.
Qualifying ExamCandidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 2025 can apply.
Minimum PercentageAs per the IPMAT eligibility criteria, the minimum percentage required are :General, NC-OBC, and EWS Category: Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.SC, ST, and PWD (DAP) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.

Note: Regardless of Board regulations, the candidate’s X and XII Standard percentages should be determined by aggregating the marks of the top five subjects on the mark sheet. In the event that grades are Follow the certified conversion method provided by the Board/Competent Authority for the calculation of the best five subjects’ percentage, which is assigned in lieu of marks.

Eligibility Criteria for IPM at IIM Jammu

The Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Jammu is open to candidates who meet the following criteria.

Minimum PercentageCandidate should have a minimum of 60% in standard Xth/SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations (55% for the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category). Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/HSC or equivalent by the end of July 31, 2025, can also apply.

The Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The college authorities determine the IPMAT eligibility criteria for all participating colleges.

Eligibility Criteria for IPM at IIM Bodhgaya

All candidates who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Bodhgaya.

Minimum PercentageGeneral/OBC/EWS Candidates should have passed the 10th and 12th examinations with a minimum of 60%.SC/ST/PwD Candidates should have passed the 10th and 12th examinations with a minimum of 55% according to IPMAT eligibility criteria.

Note: In accordance with board regulations, candidates are required to compute their Class X and Class XII marks. In the event that the board does not specify aggregate marks, the percentage calculation for the IPMAT eligibility criteria should take into account all subjects on the grade sheet.

Eligibility Criteria for IIFT Kakinada IPM

The Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIFT Kakinada is open to candidates who meet the following IPMAT eligibility criteria.

Core Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Business Mathematics are required subjects in Class 12.

Minimum PercentageCandidates should have passed the class 10th and 10+2/XII/HSC examination with a minimum of 60%. (55% for candidates from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) according to the IPMAT Eligibility Criteria.
