Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is the primary entrance exam for the five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at IIM Rohtak. The selection process for a limited number of seats at one of India’s most prestigious management institutes commences after the highly competitive IPMAT Rohtak exam, which attracts thousands of applicants annually, is successfully completed. While passing the examination is a significant accomplishment, it is merely the first stage of the rigorous selection process. Furthermore, candidates are obliged to participate in an extensive array of assessments prior to being granted admission.

The Selection Process for Rohtak Following the IPMAT
Stage I: IPMAT Rohtak Online Registration
- Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are obligated to submit an online registration form.
- The form evaluates the applicant’s academic proficiency and extracurricular achievements.
- A registration fee of Rs. 4500/- is compulsory and non-refundable.

Rohtak Entrance Exam for IPMAT: Stage II
- All registered applicants are required to take the IPM Aptitude Test, which assesses their aptitude, logical reasoning, and English proficiency.
- Date of Examination: May 5, 2024
- Examination Framework:
- 40 Questions – 40 Minutes: Quantitative Proficiency
- 40 Minutes – 40 Questions: Logical Reasoning
- 40 Questions – 40 Minutes: Verbal Proficiency
- One mark is deducted for each incorrect response, while four marks are awarded for each correct response.
- A multiple-choice question (MCQ) format.
- For IPL candidates: An additional Legal Reasoning section with 20 questions (20 minutes duration) will be included for those who select the Integrated Programme in Law (IPL) option.
Stage III: IPMAT Rohtak Personal Interview
- Candidates are chosen based on their IPM AT 2025 score and the minimum eligibility requirements.
- Personal interviews are being requested and are tentatively scheduled for the first week of June 2025.
- The candidates who have been shortlisted will be evaluated on their academic qualifications, general awareness, and communication abilities.
- Dates of Interview: June 2, 2025 (Probable)
Rohtak Merit List for IPMAT: Stage IV
- The final merit list is produced by:
- IPM AT 2025 Score
- Prior academic achievements
- Personal Interview Score
- The merit list is expected to be announced during the first week of July 2025.
- According to government reservation regulations, admission offers are contingent upon seat availability and merit/rank in each category.
Stage V: Provisional Admission for IPMAT Rohtak
- A provisional offer letter is sent to the selected candidates via email.
- In order to verify their admission, candidates must:
- Submit Rs. 1,00,000/- as the Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA) and accept the Offer.
- The OAA will be adjusted in accordance with the First Year Programme Fee.
- Seat cancellation occurs when the initial installment of the program fee is not paid by the designated deadline.
- The institute’s website contains information regarding its fee structure.
Stage VI. IPMAT Rohtak Reporting & Final Admissions
- Candidates who have accepted the offer are obligated to physically report to the institute for the purpose of document verification and registration.
- Session commencement is anticipated to occur during the first week of August 2025.
- DAP category candidates are accommodated in hostels on a sharing basis, with special arrangements being made.
IPMAT Rohtak Program Highlights
At IIM Rohtak, the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) facilitates a seamless transition from undergraduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG) management education.
- Dual Degree Awarded: Students who successfully complete the entire five-year program at IIM Rohtak are awarded both a BBA and an MBA.
- Direct MBA Admission: Students are automatically admitted to the two-year MBA program upon completion of the initial three years (BBA), provided that they meet the academic prerequisites. The CAT or any other entrance exam is not mandatory.
- Students who desire to graduate with a BBA degree after three years are granted an early exit option.
- Program Structure: The program is divided into 15 terms, each of which is three months in duration and occurs three times on an annual basis. The initial phase encompasses fundamental subjects, while the subsequent phase concentrates on management studies.
- Internship Opportunities: Students are obligated to complete internships at the end of each academic year.

The mess fee will be Rs. 48000/- per year, in addition to the aforementioned cost. Furthermore, students will be required to provide an annual payment of Rs. 10,000/- for the Development Charge and Rs. 40,000/- for the Placement Facility Charges. Students will also be accountable for the payment of the Alumni Membership fee of Rs. 6500/- and the Caution money (refundable) of Rs. 10,000/-.
