IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted by The ICFAI Foundation For Higher Education (a deemed to be. University under Section 3 of UGC act 1956), for students seeking admission to the MBA / PhD programs of. IBS Bengaluru and IBS Hyderabad.

1. IBSAT 2022 Syllabus

The Syllabus holds the key to your preparation and is the first step before you launch your preparation for this year’s IBSAT.

IBSAT 2022 will have four main sections, namely:

Verbal Ability

Quantitative Ability

Data Adequacy and Data  Interpretation

2. Expected pattern of IBSAT 2022

Before you appear for the entrance exam, you must know the type of questions to expect in the exam.

Number of questions- 140

Duration-2 hours

One mark for every correct answer

No negative marking

Number of questions per section- – 80 questions in VARC – 30 questions in Quantitative Ability – 30 questions in Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation

3. Mode of Exam

BSAT 2022 is a computer-based online test, conducted in the English language.

Before appearing for the exam, candidates must practice acquainting themselves with the online mode.

Looking at the computer screen, working out the solutions and keeping a tab on time simultaneously might prove to be difficult.

4. Selection Process

The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education follows a thorough process while selecting the students.

There is an extensive selection process in place, which begins with the IBSAT exam.

Candidates who clear the entrance are called for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews, after which the final merit list is prepared.

5. Expected IBSAT 2022 Cut off

Candidates must be aware of the expected cut offs of various IBS institutes, based on the past trends.

The results are expected to be declared in the first week of January 2023.

IBS Hyderabad is expected to be around 70-80 percentile. IBS Kolkata is likely to be around 55-65. IBS Bangalore, the cut off is expected to be around 65-75 percentile.
